Our Brands
Every label below was chosen by hand, and most of them are run by the person who designs the clothes. Some sew each piece themselves. Some dye fabric in batches of thirty.
What you won't find here is warehouse product dressed up as design: the same garments sold on dozens of other sites under dozens of other names. Everything on this page is something we can stand behind. These are the eleven labels we sell, who they are, and where they make things.
The independents
Ashlea Baker: handmade swimwear, UK
Ashlea designs, sews, packs and posts every piece herself. Individually handmade in the UK, in classic silhouettes and prints you won't find elsewhere, sized XS to 7XL. Small-scale production by conviction rather than constraint. Swimwear built to last more than one summer. Shop the range in swimwear.
Meraki Beach: slow-made resort wear
Female-founded, started in 2018 as a small boutique and now designing its own collections. Organic cotton, linen and recycled fabric spun from discarded fishing nets and carpets diverted from landfill. Most styles are hand-dyed in small batches with OEKO-TEX certified dyes, some using shibori, the Japanese resist-dyeing technique. Made in small runs, sometimes to order. Find them in beach and summer dresses.
Turtledove London: organic cotton, London
Founded in 2016 to make clothing more conscientiously. One hundred per cent GOTS-certified organic cotton, no animal products, no harmful chemicals, produced in ethically approved factories. Built for longevity rather than seasons. Quiet, comfortable pieces that adapt as bodies and lives do.
Lavender Hill Clothing: British, female-founded
Female founded and independently owned. GOTS-certified organic cotton and TENCEL™ spun from sustainably harvested wood pulp, made by workers earning fair wages, shipped in recyclable and biodegradable packaging. Timeless is an overused word; here it means a garment you'll still be reaching for in five years. See pyjamas.
Earth Wardrobe: Edinburgh
Launched in 2021 and run from Edinburgh, with its own organic line alongside a tightly chosen roster of ethical labels. Proof that affordable and ethical aren't opposites.
Louche: design-led London
A London label with its own studio, its own prints and its own seasons. Vintage-inflected, unmistakably British, and never quite like anyone else's. The largest independent collection we carry. Browse the dresses.
Sophie The Label: limited edition
Limited-edition womenswear across dresses, separates, swim and loungewear. Styles are named rather than numbered, like BAHAMA and MAYA, and made in small runs, so when a piece goes, it goes.
Ivy Ekong Fashion: occasion wear
A UK label built for the days that matter: weddings, the races, Royal Ascot. Statement dresses, bandage bodycon, caftans and two-piece sets in named styles, cut across an inclusive size range. See cocktail and evening dresses.
Spiral Direct: alternative, Croydon
Spiral Designs has been drawing and printing its own artwork in Croydon for decades. Everything is their own design, manufactured in-house. A genuine alternative-clothing house, not a reseller of someone else's prints.

Two established labels we carry alongside the independents.
Yumi: established British label
Yumi Clothing has been making print-led, vintage-leaning womenswear from London since 2006. Not a small independent, and we won't pretend otherwise, but the prints are good and the fit is reliable.
Sisstrevolution: surf-born womenswear
Californian in origin and part of the wider surf-brand stable, Sisstrevolution makes easy woven dresses and swim built around actually being in the water. Stocked for what it does well rather than for its provenance.
Frequently asked
Are these brands independent?
Yes for the nine in the first section. The two under 'Also In Store' are established companies rather than small independents, which is why they sit separately. Each entry tells you who the label is and where its clothes are made.
Where do the clothes ship from?
Directly from each label. That means a Meraki Beach order and an Ashlea Baker order arrive separately, packed by the people who made them.
Do you charge for delivery?
Delivery is £3.99, and free on orders over £50. Parcels usually arrive within three to seven working days. We currently deliver within Great Britain.
Will you be adding more labels?
Yes. We welcome applications from smaller labels who would like to sell their products through Luce Feroce. If you design and make your own clothing, we would like to hear from you at contactus@luceferoce.com.
